All CVOA Members have undertaken to follow the CVOA Code of Caribbean Villa Rental Conduct when dealing with all rental clients.
CVOA Code of Caribbean Villa Rental Conduct
Villa owner or agent will without fail:
- Describe their villa accurately both through text and images.
- Hand over the villa in good condition with all necessary furnishings and fittings.
- Provide all services advertised as being amenities offered by the property.
- Provide villa renters with an emergency number for on-island assistance.
- Fairly refund rental monies or a proportion thereof if the villa renter was unable to use the property for all or part of the time because of problems with the villa.
CVOA will immediately terminate the membership of any Villa Manager, Owner or Agent who in CVOA's sole opinion fails to follow the code of conduct or to respond fairly and adequately to a guest's complaint or request for a refund.
